Tuition 


Tuition:
Tuition is based on 31 classes per year from September through June, and payable in either 10 monthly installments or 2 semester installments. 
Tuition will be posted to accounts on the 1st of each month and are automatically withdrawn on the 7th of the month. 
​*Please note: Your monthly tuition payment is not based on how many classes occur per month.
Tuition is non-refundable, and no credits will be given for missed classes. Failure to attend the classes does not relieve the obligation to pay the full tuition for the classes in which the student has been enrolled.
You can select between two payment options:

Monthly payments:
● 45-minute classes: $77/month
● 60-minute classes: $87/month 
● 120-minute classes: $173/month 

Semester Payments*
Semester 1: September-December (4 Months)
Semester 2: January-June (6 Months)
● 45-min class: $288 Semester 1 / $432 Semester 2
● 60-min class: $328 Semester 1 / $492 Semester 2
● 120-min class: $672 Semester 1 / $1,008 Semester 2
*Semester payment plans save you $5/month in Tuition and must be paid in full at the start of each semester:
 Payment 1 is due September 7th and Payment 2 is due January 7th

Annual Registration Fee:
New Students: $85 (Includes Registration + Required Uniform Package)
Returning Students: $35
*Registration fees are non-refundable and due upon enrollment. 

Uniform Package:
Jump’n Jig Classes: School branded leotard, tutu, and 1 pair of poodle socks
Youth Classes: 1 Polo Shirt, 1 pair of shorts, and 1 pair of poodle socks. 
Adult Classes: 1 Polo or T-shirt, 1 pair of leggings, and 1 pair of poodle socks. 


Discounts:
Family Package:  For families enrolling more than 1 dancer per dance season, we offer a family package. The monthly tuition fee will be decreased by 5%/month for each additional dancer. 

Multi-Class: For Dancers enrolled in 2 classes per semester, a 5% discount will be applied to the second class tuition.

*The Semester Payment Discount may not be combined with any other tuition discount. Family Package and Multi-Class Discounts cannot be combined with the Semester Payment Discount.


DanceStudio-Pro:
Kender Academy operates through online payment only; all payments for services and programs are payable through the online parent portal. 

Enrollment in Auto-Pay is required for all families. Monthly tuition will be posted to parent portal accounts on the 1st of each month and is due by the 7th. An email reminder will be sent on the 1st when tuition has been posted. Families may choose to submit payment manually through the Parent Portal before the 7th. Any remaining balance will automatically be charged to the payment method on file through Auto-Pay on the 7th.

Any balance remaining unpaid after the 7th of the month will incur a $20 late fee.

Any student that registers for any Kender Academy class after the start of classes will have their tuition prorated with the first payment due upon registration and subsequent payments following the schedule above.


Dance School Transfers:
Kender Academy follows CLRG transfer procedures to ensure all dancers move between schools respectfully and in accordance with CLRG rules. The process protects families, dancers, and teachers alike. A $50 administration fee is required to process the transfer paperwork required by CLRG. This fee is non-refundable and must be paid prior to initiating the transfer process. Policies

Parent Viewing
Outside of our Caregiver & Me Program, we do not allow parents in the dance room because we find that it distracts the dancers from the task at hand. Dancers are more focused on the teacher and will perform better with fewer people in the room. Dance is also about learning independence. You will see your dancer grow so much in confidence from their dance classes. Parents will get opportunities throughout the year to see their dancer perform at our showcase, feiseanna, SPD Shows, and other community dance events. Parents will be able to watch class in our lobbies via the tv screens, studio permitting. We thank you for your understanding!

Make Up Classes
  • Make-up classes are available for students by appointment. No refunds or credits are issued for missed classes.
  • Students can make up missed classes at the designated classes assigned to them when available.
    • For example, if your dancer is enrolled in a Jump’n Jig class that meets on Monday, they can attend a makeup class for a class of the same level on the schedule, such as the Jump’n Jig class on Sunday.
  • Please notify the teacher when you wish to make up a class, so we know to expect you for a make-up class. 
  • If you do not see an appropriate corresponding class on the schedule, please consult with our staff to determine an appropriate make up option.  
  • Make-up classes are only available by appointment during the session in which the dancer is enrolled.

Weather Inclination Policy  & Class Closures
  • We try to keep class interruptions and cancellations to a minimum as dancers learn best with consistent lessons and attendance.
  • If classes are cancelled due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, you will be notified via Text and/or email. Please make sure the email address associated with your account is current.
  • Any class missed due to weather cancellation can be made up during another scheduled class associated with your dancers experience level at any time during the season your dancer is enrolled. 
  • Classes are not cancelled based on the public schools.
  • Important Class Closures for the Year can be found in your dancer portal and on our website here. 

Studio Policies
  • Dress code is strictly enforced in dance classes, and street shoes are not permitted in the dance room.
  • Kender Academy of Irish Dance places each dancer in the appropriate class level, and will inform families if a change is necessary.
  • The director of Kender Academy has the right to refuse and/or terminate enrollment of any student at any time.

DANCE CLASS CANCELLATION  & WITHDRAWAL POLICY

Kender Academy values commitment and consistency. Withdrawal should be considered carefully, as enrollment reserves a dancer’s place for the full season. We consider withdrawals as a last resort and not a means of solving conflicts, temporary disinterest, or scheduling issues. 

Enrollment at Kender Academy of Irish Dance is a seasonal commitment. When registering, families reserve their dancer’s place in class for the full dance season. While we understand that withdrawals may occasionally be necessary, tuition is non-refundable and withdrawal requires a minimum 30-day written notice. Families remain financially responsible for tuition during the notice period regardless of attendance.

Non-attendance, regardless of reason, does not constitute withdrawal and does not relieve families of their financial obligations.

Any issues should be brought to staff’s attention with the goal of resolving long before withdrawals are considered or requested.
